Chapter 48

After dinner, Lavender left with her son. She did not want to linger any longer because Edgar was giving her some creepy feelings she did not like.

Maybe she was just overthinking things, but she had a feeling things won't go too well between the two.

Since it was her friend's decision, then she will have to sit back and observe.

At the restaurant, Stella and Edgar continued to chat. They were not in a hurry to leave.

"Your friend seem to dislike me." Edgar said as he looked at his girlfriend. 

"Babe, you have just met for the first time. You can't expect Lavender to warm to you immediately." Stella defended her friend.

"You know maybe because of her past experience, she is wary of men. Just give her some time. I promise she is a very good friend."

"Okay since you said so, I will wait and see." Edgar said in an easy going manner.
