An invitation

Vanessa's POV

“I will check your vitals, then we can head outside for a walk.” Samira smiled, taking out her equipment from the bag.

“I don’t think I’m up for a walk.” I sighed.

She glanced up at me. “Is everything alright, Miss Sterling?”

I shrugged. “I’m just a little tired.”

“That’s alright. Instead of a walk, we can go stay by the poolside, breathe in the fresh air, don’t you think?”

I nodded. “That sounds better.”

After a moment, she led me downstairs and out of the house to the massive blue pool. There were pristine white lounge chairs decking the area around it, with soft, green grass covering the ground. I knew it was beautiful, since I had seen it many times.

But now that I was so close to it, I realized how massive it was. It was very impressive.

“You’re right, Samira.” I smiled back at her, taking in a deep inhale of the fresh air. “I feel more relaxed out here.”
