Revelation

Eve's POV

I took a long hot shower, feeling the water cascade down my skin. It felt soothing, however temporary it was. Tom had left for work so early, just like he had in the past few days.  

He hadn't spoken a word to me. Not one, after the incident. And I didn't bother saying a word either. As long as he left me alone, it meant that the chances of his assault reoccurring were low.  

Strapping on a top and a long skirt, I made my way into the closet and fished out the box of drawing materials. At least Tom hadn't found this yet. If he destroyed them as well, I would lose my mind for sure. I hugged the box close to my chest, feeling immense relief course through me. If I searched for escape from my reality, this was it. This was my escape.  

I cleared the desk in the bedroom, laid out my drawing paper and grabbed a drawing pencil. Swiping through my phone for a drawing

from Adam.& this Adam is also stupid to just let a woman dominate his life.it's look like not interesting anymore to read .always makes Eve like no brain at all.

the story & the way Tom keep hurting Eve is too much .it's like boring anymore too much violence in a part of eve.is the writer no more idea that everytime abuse to eve? like no way out for her to run to.maybe let her think to draw & sell it or anything that he can get a help from someone aside.
