Chapter 43

Nicholas and Charlotte continued their work, each of them buried in their laptops. The former was reviewing the video ad that had been sent to him and making notes and corrections where necessary.

He was still bent over his laptop when his door creaked open and the older version of Nicholas stepped in. His hair was as dark as midnight, the product of the dye process, and his features were just as sharp as his son's. He could easily pass for his elder brother.

"Dad," Nicholas said, looking up to greet his father. The older Harrington had on a navy blue suit; underneath was a white shirt and red tie, and the buttons were currently open.

"Nik, how are you doing, son? I see you are back to work." Sebastian said, beaming with a smile.

Nicholas shrugged his shoulders and said, "I don't think I have much of a choice. The honeymoon has ended." He replied, barely taking his eyes off the screen.

"Ha, yes, the honeymoon. I am sure you enjoyed it, seeing how I went over and beyond it."
