Chapter 27

They came out of the suite, and just beside it were tables and chairs with trays and plates already arranged on them. There was also a grill not too far from the table, although nothing was currently cooking there.

Nicholas led her to one of the chairs, and as the gentle man he was, he pulled it out for her, and only after she had sat down did he take his seat opposite her.

"Good day, Mr. and Mrs. Harrington. How are you enjoying your stay thus far?"

"Fine, but right now we are starving." Nicholas said, going straight to the point, and they both laughed. The chef opened the dish in front of them as he began to describe it.

"For starters, we will have buffalo shrimp skewers topped with buffalo wing sauce and blue cheese. Enjoy." The chef moved away, allowing them privacy.

Mary closed her eyes as she inhaled, the smell of food making her more hungry. Her mouth watered as she saw the shrimp, and she couldn't wait to start eating.
