“Rose please,” Wayne groaned in agony.
“I’m not doing this to get over Victor. I’m doing it because I want to and maybe the thought of Victor is what has been stopping me from making a move. Please don’t get me wrong, I don’t expect anything from you after. It’s not like I’m going to force you to really date me, there are no strings attached. We can just do it and move on; that’s if you are up for it.I’m making everything clear so you can decide if you want to do it. You can say no if you want and there will be no hard feelings, I promise.I don’t think it will ruin our friendship if we do it or if you say no. But that’s in my opinion, not yours.” Rose said sincerely as she watched him.He broke eye contact and lowered his gaze to the bed.She would have wanted things differently because she was more than sexually attracted to Wayne. But she was going to take him in any way she could. It would be nice if she could at least taWhen Rose woke up she noticed that something was a little different. The room was dark but she was able to detect the differences. She was not lying on her side of the bed, her head was on Wayne’s chest and his arm was around her; it was a fantastic position to be in. She also felt a little sore between her legs. They were still naked but the covers were drawn up over themOkay, things were more than a little different. They had done it three times before finally drifting off to sleep. Each time they had been done, they would rest, cuddle, start making out and get all heated up again. The last time had been in the shower and they had collapsed on the bed in sweet exhaustion.Wayne was such a sexy beast. She blushed thinking about some of the things he had done. Well, she was no saint either; she had given him a run for his money.Rose couldn’t help smiling. Who would have thought things would turn out like this?
Wayne, Rose and Maggie finished up with dinner, cleaned up and decided to play a game of Monopoly. They were all sitting on the plush rug in the living room. It was really fun and Rose was soon a property tycoon.“Muahahaha, pay up.” Rose ordered Wayne with a wicked glint in her eye when he landed on one of her properties.“Ouuuuu, I’m not sure you can afford that Wayne. Would you care to declare bankruptcy?” Maggie snickered although she was going to be in trouble too if she landed on one of Rose’s properties. The girl had hotels set up everywhere; it was like navigating through a minefield. Wayne handed Rose some money and she counted it with disdain written on her face.“What’s up with this paltry sum? It’s not even enough payment for a house and I have a hotel built there.” Rose raised a brow.“Oh really? When did you build a hotel there?” Wayne feigned ignorance.“Ages ago now pay up!”“Do you accept payme
Wayne tried to concentrate during his meeting with Minister Xing but it was hard to do that when a sexy vixen like Rose was on his mind. The meeting was held at the Chinese Embassy and Wayne wanted to leave as soon as they were done so he could see Rose.He tried to politely decline the minister’s offer to stay for lunch but had to change his mind when he declared that lunch was a traditional family meal which had been passed down for generations. Wayne tried to eat as politely and fast as he could,He practically jumped for joy when he was done and tried to walk briskly instead of breaking into a run.He missed Rose and wanted to see her as soon as possible. His brain was telling him that he was stupid for getting involved in this kind of situation and he should have kept his distance from Rose to avoid getting hurt. This was someone who was probably still hung up on an absentee fiancé. He couldn’t even find a woman with no baggage; if such a per
Rose was finding it hard to focus for the rest of the day. Maybe she should have just stayed on Wayne’s lap and listened to him talk about his day. But she was the one who had insisted that she needed to get back to work.Damn her for being so hardworking! But she was looking forward to their little date tonight. They had gone on a number of dates during their ‘relationship’ but this was going to be different. What was she going to wear? She really wanted to call Jessica and ask for her opinion. Maybe they could go shopping to get a new outfit for the date. The idea seemed like fun but she still wasn’t ready to tell anyone about what they had decided.Things were really different and she couldn’t exactly figure out why. It felt like she and Jessica had kinda drifted apart. If it had been in the past she would have shared the news as soon as possible. But she was bidding her time now.Maybe it was because a part of her noticed th
“I.. I don’t understand.” Rose was looking at Wayne like he had gone crazy. She should have known that he had something like this up his sleeve. A part of her had thought that they were going for dinner a little early. But she had assumed that was because Wayne had other activities planned out.She didn’t think that it was because they had to fly to the venue!“We are going to board one of my private planes and go for our date.” Wayne repeated slowly in a teasing tone.“I heard you clearly the first time. Wayneeeeee we have work tomorrow, aren’t we going to be tired after with all the flying? I’m not trying to be a buzz kill and I’m sorry if I sound like one.” They would probably make it in time for work but they might be exhausted.“Well, I spoke to the boss and he said we can take the day off tomorrow; problem solved. Plus I don’t think you’re being a buzz kill.” Wayne grinned at her. He knew her well enough and had
Dinner was wonderful and Rose managed to make it through without any more tears of joy. She had such a lovely time with Wayne and it was the sweetest thing anyone had ever done for her. She was not surprised when they headed out to the most expensive hotel in the city; Midas’ Touch. Wayne was not one to settle for less than the best. True to its name, almost everywhere had some sort of golden decoration. They stepped into the reception and all the employees instantly snapped to attention. They had obviously been informed of their coming. It was still going to take a long time before Rose could get used to how people acted when Wayne entered a room and they knew who he was.A man approached them with a wide smile plastered on his face that reminded Wayne of Batman’s Joker. “Good evening Mr. Blackstone, Miss Cohen. My name is Nicholas Switzer and I am the concierge. Mr. Blackstone, we already received a call from your assistant
Rose had really enjoyed the trip to Springfield. They had stayed a day longer because Wayne had wanted to see places she had spent her time while growing up. They had driven past her middle school, high school, favorite café and so many other places. They had spent the extra night at Thomas’ house and Wayne had enjoyed it more than any hotel. He had seen Rose’s bedroom and all her cute pictures. Rose was almost the splitting image of her mother, but she had gotten her dad’s chestnut brown hair instead of Theresa’s dark one.Cooking in her mother’s kitchen was the happiest place he had ever seen her cook and he had been honored to be her assistant chef. Wayne had enjoyed every bit and of it and he had been happy to see Rose relax. Sometimes she worked so hard without taking any breaks and he liked seeing her rest. They could have spent a week but he knew that she would object.Who would have ever thought that he would end up with such a hard worke
“Eeeeeiiiiiiiiii.” Rose squealed in shock and dropped the letter like it was on fire. The Business Awards was the biggest event in the business world. It was basically an award night for businesses and people who had done great things or made visible impacts in their business sector. Getting an award was a massive accomplishment and bragging rights were certainly earned. It was strictly by invitation and held every year. Rose had assumed that she would probably be invited or tag along as Wayne’s plus one. Wayne was a regular there and had worn a number of awards since he had officially delved into the business world.Rose never expected that she would be attending the event as an actual nominee and was trying to make sure that no one was pulling an expensive joke on her; her heart wouldn’t be able to take something like that. She carefully picked up the letter and slowly read through so she wouldn’t miss a word. It looked authentic enough; it wasn
