Chapter 60

Dead silence swirls between the two of us. My eyes would sometimes steal a glance at him but I never dared to open my mouth to come out with something. Eyes now pasted on the tinted window of his Porsche. All these blocks and street names are now familiar to me which means we are back in the city.

Closing my eyes and never wanting to open them again. I clutched my stomach in the hope that it would stop growling but it didn't, right at this moment I remembered that I hadn't eaten anything yet.

"You skipped dinner?" He asked. Their eyes slowly drifted back at him. I nodded my head and on cue, the muscles on his jaw clenched and irritation now housed his eyes.

"You went to a party with an empty stomach," he said again only that this time he wasn't asking. It's a statement rather than a question and he looks completely pissed too.

"Where do you want to eat?" His follow up question is something I didn't expect from him. He should be hating me to the core right now. If he is not the type
