Biting her lower lip. Andy stood before me while I sat comfortably on the leather couch. Hugging the iPad around her arms. I opened my palm to ask for it as I could no longer wait. It took her an hour to come up with the profile of Kairos' exes.

"Ms. Rory, are you sure that you want to know? Why does this matter to you? Almost all of them are just a one-night thing or a month-long fling. I can assure you that they won't get in the way of your marriage with Mr. Lancaster. I don't think he is the type to cheat," she told me, and when my eyes crawl up to meet her. She swallowed a lump in my throat and I almost jumped at her to comfort her because her eyes displayed fear and I was not here to scare her or power play around.
