"Still not sorry for me?" asked Edgar, his blue eyes looking at Elissa. He was now driving while Elissa sat beside him. And she was still silent. Elissa did not look at Edgar at all. Instead of answering with a nod, she was as still as a statue given life.

"OK, fine. If you still don't forgive me, I won't go home," Edgar continued.

Elissa looked at her husband. "Why?"

"Like you said. That's your house, not mine. There's not a single drop of my money there. So if the owner evicts me, why would I live there."

Elissa blinked. She looked back at the deserted street. Who knew where Edgar was taking her? "Are you still angry?" she asked.

Edgar was surprised by Elissa's question. "Hem... what do I know? I'm still angry. I'm not a robot that can be repeatedly hurt without feeling anything. It's just that ...." Edgar raised his right hand. He folded all his fingers except his ring finger. "The ring you wear on my finger always says our marriage is not fake. It's real, just like my love for you
