It was a Tuesday morning, and as Mel made her way to the office, she paused at the company's notice board. There, she noticed a flier announcing the upcoming competition. It was the moment she had been waiting for. The details revealed that the link to apply had been sent to all employees in the shoe department. Excitedly absorbing the information, Mel turned to continue on her path, only to be met with a disdainful eye-roll from Leah, who had suddenly appeared in front of her.

Leah couldn't resist making a snide comment. "Don't tell me you're actually planning to participate in this, Mel. You know it won't work."

Mel raised an eyebrow, refusing to let Leah's negativity dampen her spirit. "And why won't it work? Can you provide a valid reason?" she retorted.

Leah scoffed, a smirk playing on her lips. "I don't expect you to understand the obvious, but since you insist on being the clueless one, I'll enlighten you. Consider the position you currently hold as a team leader. You were luck
