The culprit

“Doctor, how is my son?” Roseanne asked when the doctor exited Leon's room. She had been waiting for an update. She inquired a lot of nurses but none of them gave her a proper answer. It seemed they did not know what was going on inside the operation theater. This made her more stressed about her son's condition.

The doctor's answer put her in a further predicament, “The child has critical injuries. We performed the surgery but he is still in a critical condition. Only after observing him, can we say anything.”

Roseanne’s tears flowed uncontrollably. Why was this happening with her son? What wrong did he do to deserve all of this?

At this time, Nicholas was not here as he was resting after donating blood. Sitting alone in the empty hallway took a toll on her heart.

She was sitting alone at this time when her phone rang. It was Ellora who was calling her to inquire about Leon's condition. She was so thankful that there was someone to talk to.
