Chapter 30

True to his word, Blake took Lacey out to play tennis the next morning. Last night he had been exhausted so he turned in early - by Bora Bora time. He had been jetlagged. Plus he didn’t want to pounce on Lacey like a horny school boy with a crush. Blake wanted her to feel comfortable and have fun.

The rules of tennis had come back to him, but being a good player hadn’t. He was in good shape but it was obvious he had to work on his cardio – above water. The had played three sets and Lacey had won them all.

Lacey had finally suggested they sit down for a minute to his relief.

An attendant approached the table. “Would you like something to drink?”

“Water with lemon,” Lacey said evenly. She wore a cute short white skirt with a white tank top showing off her gorgeous legs and figure. But Blake was too exhausted to enjoy the view.

Scotch. Despite how badly he wanted that he didn’t think it would be wise for him to drink
