Leena's POV

“Sister, you have been in a bad mood these days. Are you alright?” Kelvin asked as he strolled into the dinning room still in his pajamas.

“No, I'm fine.” I lied, shaking my head.

The toasting machine made a sharp sound, pushing out the sliced bread and I took them out, placing it on the plate.

“Here, this is for you. Do you want mayonnaise?” I asked warmly.

“Yeah with a cup of coffee.” He said.

“Right up!” I smirked, heading to the coffee machine.

“Sister, where is uncle James?” His question startled me but thankfully the mug didn't slip from my hand.

“Why are you asking about him so early?” I forced out a smile, placing the cup of coffee on the table.

“He promised to take me out today and get me whatever I want.” He pouted his lips, his doey eyes trying to crumble my defenses.

I didn't want him to start building a relationship with James.

What if James and I divorce or something happens?

Our relationship wasn't progressing and I didn't want Kelvin to suffer from it.
