Chapter 141 "Getting Shy All of A Sudden"

When Harriet heard that Cassius is feeling sick, she did not hesitate to go and run on the way to his room. She did not bother looking at the mirror, or changing her indoor slippers into a pair of shoes. Harriet did not.

The first thing that came to her mind is what would she do if she sees him trembling and convulsing again because of his sickness. And she was going to hug him, to tell him that everything will be okay because she will be on his side.

“Here, ma’am,” the staff guided Harriet until they arrived in front of the room.

Using the main key of the hotel, the staff opened the door. Both hurried to go inside and when they did, they saw Cassius sitting perfectly on the couch, with his arms crossed.

Harriet and staff looked surprised.

“He isn’t like that when he…” the staff said unfinished words. He was bewildered. He was sure that Cassius was trembling and that he looks very pale a moment ago.

Slowly, Cassius looked at Harriet.
