She wanted to confirm that Chloe's words weren't true. And she couldn't wait to face that vixen.

"Mum." Hailey wiped her mouth after her mother made her eat until she was full. "Could you take me to my father? I would like to see him."

"Your father?"

Hailey didn't expect the look of horror in the woman's eyes. Her expression paled within seconds and she quickly shook her head.

"Why would you want to see your father, Dear?" Her mother asked.

"I– I just want to see him," Hailey said. "I want to go to his house."

Going there wasn't specifically to see her father. She had so many things she wanted to confirm.

Chloe must have lied to her that they were on vacation. They should be in the city. Although she claimed she had the same mother as her, she later on confessed in the end that her mother had abandoned her.

Something must be wrong somewhere.

"Dear, think about it," her mother said softly. "Your father, you wouldn't want to see that man. How about you wait until your memories co
