"Hailey and I are going out," Rob said. "She won't be able to receive your gift. Keep them until we return."

"Sister, you're going out?" Chloe's eyes shone with confusion. Her confusing look was directed more at Rob.

"And make sure you don't spoil anything in the house while we're gone, Chloe," Rob said before Hailey could finish her words.

"Do I look like a baby to you?" Chloe gave him a taunting look. "More like I shouldn't snoop around the house while you're gone."

"Well, I'll have to disappoint you." Chloe gave him a sweet smile. "Because once you're gone, I'm going to start snooping around. And I'll dig out whatever you've been hiding."
