"That should do, Love," Rob answered. Hailey couldn't make out his expression, but she was sure that he was smiling at the moment.

The dizziness increased and she longed to lie down.

"Let me settle you in a comfortable position." Rob's voice floated from a distance. He stood up and tucked her into the bed.

Hailey fluttered her eyes still fighting the sleep.

The door opened and she could hear her sister's voice. She couldn't make out what Chloe was saying to Rob.

Rob covered her with the blanket and as Hailey's eyelids closed, Chloe's voice increased in the background and they both left the room.

Even in her sleep, Hailey could hear their indistinct voices from a distance. They seemed to be arguing. Or maybe they were arguing. Otherwise, she was only dreaming about two people arguing.

In her dream, the male voice was deep and demanding, and the female voice was loud. She was crying.
