"You don't like to be called that?" She smiled and the boy nodded.

"Awn, that's so sad." Hailey gently pinched his cheeks. "What should I call you then? Do you prefer the title, little man?"

The boy nodded again, eagerly this time and Hailey chuckled.

"Then don't be mad, because right from now, I'll call you Mr. Little man."

His red cheeks became a shade darker and he played with Hailey's fingers. "I'm not mad," he mumbled. "Cuz you're sick. And... You're beautiful."
