"Just follow what Frans said!" Gerald insisted, swiftly leaving and heading to the room occupied by Renald and Syella, as their commotion was drawing attention from other guests.

Frans kissed Veronica's forehead. "Lock the door!" he instructed firmly before stepping out to join Gerald.

Bianca realized something bad might happen. She quickly snatched the key from Veronica's hand and locked the room. Bianca didn't want anything bad to happen to Veronica or her unborn baby if Syella came in a fit of rage.

"Stay calm. Nothing will happen," Bianca reassured Veronica. She knew her friend was worried about her husband's safety. "They are both men, and Renald is alone," she added.

However, while Bianca could keep her composure, Veronica couldn't shake the bad feeling she had right now. She was deeply worried about Frans.
