"Frans, are you done?" Gerald knocked on Frans's bedroom door.

"What's up?" Frans replied, opening the door.

"I want to leave Bianca with you for a moment. I want to visit her family's house and talk to her parents. I hope you'll allow it, considering Veronica is here, and they're friends."

Frans glanced at Veronica, who had just finished bathing. His wife was now sitting at the vanity table, applying a bit of makeup to enhance her appearance.
