Chapter Seventy Two

Eve's hate club suggested a physical meeting and Eve decided to hold the meeting in her apartment. The meeting was slated for Sunday evening and before 6 pm that Sunday, the women began arriving at her home.

As expected, Jen and Olivia showed up early to set things in order. They baked cookies and bought some beverages. At exactly 6 pm, the meeting began.

After exchanging pleasantries, Eve stood in the centre of her living room to address the women. "It's been a week since I began working in Henry's company..."

"Any progress?"

"Did you find out who his wife is?"

"Oh come on guys, let her finish." Anna fired back at the impatient women. "Besides, Eve is just a week old in the company and you expect her to dig out things immediately?"

Eve cleared her throat and appreciated Anna with a nod. She continued speaking. "It appears that Mr. Richard's wife doesn't live in the city. I've never seen her visit him even once and even though we can't just conclude yet, I'll need more time to prove
