Chapter Twenty-Four - My Boyfriend

My boyfriend, Charles, has been the love of my life ever since I knew love. He has been so good to me ever since then. I wouldn't have wished for anyone else.

I could remember particularly how we met at high school, I was sixteen then, and he was eighteen. He was also two classes higher than I was.

It was a cool Friday evening, when I was returning home after my tutorial lessons. I usually had extramural lessons with Mr Greg, my Chemistry teacher after school hours.

On this particular occasion, I had to return home a little later because I had some classwork I needed to complete before returning. Mr Greg also took more time than usual, trying to explain some keywords to me.

After a tiresome school day and an unending tutorial session with Mr Greg, I led my weary and exhausted self home. My home wasn't too far from the school, so I took the quiet, lonely path home.

Unbeknownst to me, someone followed me from behind. As he advanced towards me, my heart raced. I had to increase my pace.
