Chapter Sixteen- Day One At Mum's Place

Morning finally arrived. I was awoken by the gentle rays of sunlight, that found its way through the tiny opening curtain-covered window.

Sleepily, I tilted my head gently to the other side of the bed. Rubbing sleep off my eyes with the back of my hand, I opened my eyes, slightly.

I looked around the room. Everything was strange. It wasn't the regular room I used to know.

Opening my eyes widely, I sat down and inspected the room properly, taking in every single detail of the room. The cream coloured walls, the wooden chest of drawers, the bed, the duvet, the bedside table,... It only reminded me of one place. I was dawned with apprehension at once.

"But how did I get here?" I wondered silently, my brain thinking about the possible answers to it.

I could recall that I was locked out of my house yesterday, and I came to mum's place. Oh yeah! That's it.
