Chapter 2

Caira's POV

I quickly put on my clothes and ran to Noah for coverage, there was this expression on his face that I couldn't comprehend. Mr Alex just stood fuming in anger and disappointment.

Noah, thank you Soo much, let's quickly leave here, then I can tell you all that happened, I said walking out

I went ahead of him, while he trailed behind me slowly.

we got outside, and I was expecting him to ask me if I was alright but he didn't say anything, i was about saying something when he spoke.

caira, why!! why have you decided to repay me this way, you know, if you had wanted something you could have at least just ask, Noah said to me, looking dejected

There was a mixed expression of anger and sadness in his face as he spoke, I was so confused and didn't know what he was talking about

"what .. ..are you talking about Noah?" I asked confusedly

"shut up caira!! I caught you red-handed, are you still trying to deny the fact that you've been having an affair with my dad" Noah said looking damn angry

I was so shocked immediately he said those words.

"you got it all wrong Noah, I wasn't having an affair with your dad, your dad was the one was trying to rape me!!" I said at the top of my voice.

Immediately caira said those words about Noah's dad, Noah didn't realise when he slapped caira, he knows his dad to be a very upright man, he trust him Soo much. women can never be his problem.

Becca was upstairs watching the two lovers fight through the window, she have never been Soo happy in her entire life, the part that interested her the most was when Noah slapped caira, that was something that have never happened before, she couldn't believe that her plan actually worked,

caira had told her earlier that Mr Alex had been making advances to her, but she didn't know how to tell Noah, because she don't Know how he would react.

(FLASHBACK)

Earlier that day, not long had caira entered into Mr Alex office when Noah called Becca, asking if caira was present at work, so she answered "yes". Becca knew that Noah was probably coming to see caira at work again!! so caira in Mr Alex office, using one of Mr Alex office spare key

Her initial plan was just to make Noah suspicious of caira but she never expected that her plan could break up the perfect couples, she don't think caira deserves Noah. Ever since Noah came back from Germany where he was schooling and visited the A&X stores, all the female workers had been all over Noah, they all dreamt of having him for their self, Becca and all the female workers all put on the best of their dresses and makeup in order to impress Noah but he ended up settling for that lowlife caira who doesn't even have enough money to purchase a dress for her self. and ever since they started dating, her life had been miserable. It had always been caira! Caira!! and caira!!

Anytime Noah came visiting caira in the store, he always came with a lot of gifts for her, Becca had been loving him and making a lot of body contacts to him but he had never noticed her. Now what she needed to do is to make sure that caira and Noah don't get back together, but first, she must ensure that Noah didn't mention her name in the cause of the argument.

Caira's POV

I ran back home as fast as my leg could carry, I still couldn't believe that Noah slapped me,

And ended our relationship. I entrusted him with my virginity but this is how he paid me back!!!, he promised me that no barrier in this life would ever stumble Into our relationship, but he broke his promise, I guess he never trusted me right from the beginning!

When I got home, good thing my mom was not home, so I went straight to my room and cried my eyes out till I fell asleep.

I woke up from a hand tapping on my back repeatedly, it was my mum.

" jezz girl!!! You don't look Soo good, have you been crying?" Mum asked looking at me intensely

"no mum, I guess it is because I slept for a long time" I answered weakly

"ok sweetie, your friend Becca is in the sitting room waiting, she wants to see you" mum said walking out.

"Becca?" I muttered extremely surprised, I can't remember when last Becca came visiting.

Noah matched angrily to his dad's office, when he got inside, he met him seating Soo relaxed like nothing ever happened.

" dad, what was the meaning of that?" Noah asked barging into his dad's office angrily

"of what?" Mr Alex asked with a look of pretence

"dad, don't you act like you don't know what happened, you were with my girlfriend!!" Noah said at the top of his voice.

"So??" Mr alex responded perfunctorily, he seemed not to be bothered.

"dad you know what am talking about, don't you give me that shit!!! I have all right to ...( Noah wasn't able to complete his statement when his dad hit him hard across the face)

"How dare you Noah, you ain't got no right over anything, what gives you the right to talk to me in such manner, who told you that you are now man enough to drag a woman with me!! And what do you even think I could do with your baby girlfriend" Mr Alex said angrily

"my dear son, you are way too young for this stupidity you are displaying, you have over stayed your welcome, So, when you get home, start packing up your junks because you would be leaving for school next week" Mr Alex said, placing his right hand on Noah's shoulder.

" dad, I already told you that I.."

" that's final, now get out (Mr Alex interrupted calmly)

Becca's POV

I sat impatiently waiting for caira to come down, I was Soo nervous as I sat, I just hope Noah didn't involve me in the argument. After few minutes of waiting, I sighted caira walking down the stairs weakly, she looked so pale as she came down, I quickly rushed to her to help her down the stairs, not like I actually cared, but just to make it look like I cared.

"caira what's happening dear, you look Soo pale." I asked feigning a look of concern.

"thanks for your concern Becca, I think I'm falling ill" .she responded taking her sit beside me.

" I actually saw what happened between you and Noah today,.i am Soo sorry I couldn't interfere, I just thought it would be wise to give you two some space to sort things out, so, tell me caira, what really happened between you both?" I asked in pretence but At first caira was quiet and wasn't answering, but I really needed to convince her into trusting me, So I persisted.

"caira, I'm your friend, remember?, You can confide in me, am here to help you" I said, holding her hands.

Caira explained all that I already knew about, while I listened with gladness in my heart but I tried as much as possible to keep a sad expression.

"So, that jerk actually had the guts to lay his filthy hands on you?" I asked in pretence, while caira just kept crying silently.

"so tell me, what are you planning to do regarding the situation at hand?" I asked again

"I think I would just go and see Noah later, ( caira said in tears) this must be a misunderstanding, I wouldn't just sit and ..."( Caira wasn't able to finish her speech when i cut her off quickly)

"NO caira!! No, you are not the one at fault, Noah is !, So, I don't think you should apologize for anything!! can't you see?? Noah doesn't love and trust you, that's why he's accusing you of cheating on him" i said in rage.

"Becca you really don't under...

"understand what exactly??" I said cutting in angrily

"That he don't trust you? Don't worry about Noah my dear, every disappointment is a blessing, look at you caira, you are so beautiful, there are thousands of men out there, longing to date you Soo find yourself another man, alright? and forget about that jerk, Noah doesn't deserve a queen like you" I said sarcastically.

When Noah got back home, he was so exhausted, he threw himself on the bed as recalled all that happened between him and caira earlier.

" i really think I have acted foolishly enough for a day" he thought to himself. He felt So stupid, he could have at least allowed caira to explain her self, and he felt even more stupid for hitting her, but she should understand his inability to control his anger sometimes, but that shouldn't be a big deal because he knows caira too well, she needs him and can never take this little misunderstanding as a break up, and she shouldn't take his words too personal. so,she would surely come around someday,

He really don't know who to trust anymore, caira or his dad? After much consideration, you thought of giving her some space. Noah concluded as he packed up his luggages, he was going back to Germany the next week like his father said.

Caira saw Becca off as they talked and giggled softly,becca was really a life saver and comforter. after all that she had said, she really think Noah truly never cared about her.

She don't really know how long it might take her to get over the feelings she has for Noah, but she was so glad becca was there when she needed somebody, Becca taught her to focus on her life and not let any guy depress her all in the name of a relationship, though caira was still sad she lost her first love, but she just had to move on.

like Becca said, "it's not advisable to beg Noah when he was the one at fault, if not, he might think I'm begging him for the relationship to stand, and he might never take me serious if we keep on dating" caira thought, trying to reminisce on what Becca said. So, for the time being, she felt she just have to let Noah be, if he truly loves her, then he would come back for her.

(Becca was in her room together with her best friend Lily, they were both seated on Becca's bed as they laughed and talked happily)

"Oh my gosh! She really bought it?" Lily asked amidst laughter

"Of cause dear, I never knew I was such an inspirational and and sweet talker until today, I think I should be a life coach" becca also said amidst laughter

" yeah, you should be. So, what's your plan B big brain?" Lily teased

"mission accomplished baby girl, they are separated and separated for ever" Becca said confidently

"hold on smart ass, what if Noah decides to call her??" Lily asked with a smirk

"oh don't bother about that, he won't be able to reach her! because, while she was busy crying , I was able to put Noah's phone number in a blacklist using her phone, but I still need to convince Noah, so I can be rest assured that they won't call each other" becca said as she picked up her phone and dialed Noah's number.
