Chapter twenty-nine

When I touched him that was when Max moved. He immediately dialed a number and started shouting. "You are supposed to be on guard, where is my daughter. Where is my daughter, you better find her or so help me God I'll bring this world down on you.”

I ran, screaming Trina's name everywhere. I could still hear Max, making calls and everything he said was true.

"Have you seen a little girl, her name is Trina. She is not up six.” I asked people who were at the park but nobody had answers.

I could hear the police siren approaching. I muttered a silent prayer in my heart. “Please God, let her be okay. Please God."

The police came over. Asking questions. I took Max's hands in mine, he was shaking so was I. This was Trina, this was our baby. Nothing is suppose to happen to her, nothing. We had just taken our eyes off her for a minute, and she dissapeared.

The police asked for a picture and Max took one out of his wallet. I saw mine with it and couldn't help the warm feeling I got.
