Stolen Engagement Ring

Ines hesitated to leave the room. She seemed so uneasy that John looked at her suspiciously.

"What's wrong with you?" John asked.

Ines glanced toward the door. "Master, I feel Miss Virginia is in danger."

"What do you mean, Ines? She'll be fine there with Doctor Vano."

Ines had guessed that John would refuse to believe her, but this woman was unwilling to give up so easily. She was more worried that she would regret it if John ignored her warning later.

"I'm sorry, but I want you to see it."

John glanced toward the door. He trusts his chosen doctor so much, that maybe he will accuse him. "You don't have to be anxious. She'll be fine."

Doctor Vano looked at Luna's back. He was surprised that Luna suddenly woke up. "I am the doctor who was asked to treat your wound."

Luna was surprised when she was not wearing clothes, and she was even more surprised because now Doctor Vano tried to touch her. "Who allowed you to enter this room?"

"It was Mr. John who asked me to come here."
