David sat behind a massive mahogany desk, with a towering bookcase on his left, filled with leather-bound volumes and expensive art objects. The walls were decorated with tasteful abstract paintings, and the air was infused with the scent of fresh flowers in a crystal vase. His laptop and a pile of papers were neatly arranged on his desk, with a Montblanc pen resting on a notepad. The room was spacious, with high ceilings and large windows that overlooked the bustling city below.

David worked on his laptop, his sharp features and chiseled jawline were accentuated by the dim lighting, and his bespoke suit hugged his muscular frame perfectly. He exuded an air of confidence and authority as if he owned the world and everything in it.

His brows furrowed in concentration as he typed away on the keyboard. He was a man who prided himself on his success, and nothing was going to stand in the way of that.

Suddenly, there was a loud bang at the door, and David's secretary burst into the office, adjusting her clothes as she did so. Her dress was skimpy, revealing more than it concealed, and she had opened a few buttons to show off her ample cleavage.

As Alice walked in, David's gaze was focused on his laptop, but he couldn't help but notice the way her dress clung to her curves, revealing more than he cared to see. He quickly averted his eyes and his expression turned cold as he spoke,

“Alice, I thought I made it clear that I didn't want to be disturbed.”

Alice bowed her head and adjusted her dress, revealing more of her cleavage in the process. “I'm sorry, sir, but there was someone here to see you. A woman. I told her you weren't available, but she insisted on seeing you.”

David scowled, his anger rising. “And you let her in? Who was it?”

The secretary hesitated again before finally answering. “It was Flora, sir. Your girlfriend.”

David's eyes blazed with fury. “And you kept her outside? My woman?” he exclaimed, his voice rising in anger.

“But sir,” Alice stammered, “you said you didn't want to be disturbed and-”

“I don't care what I said!” David interrupted, his voice still laced with anger. “Flora is important to me, and you deliberately kept her out. I won't tolerate this kind of behavior from you again, Alice.”

Alice bowed her head in shame, realizing her mistake. “I'm sorry, sir,” she said, trying to hide her disappointment.

David's expression softened slightly. “Just make sure it doesn't happen again, let her in,” he said before turning his attention back to his work.

As Alice turned to leave, David called her back,” Alice wait” He said and his eyes rested on her opened cleavage.

Alice's heart skipped a beat as she heard him, and she noticed where his eyes were. She tried to hide her excitement and maintain a professional demeanor.

“Okay sir,” she replied, with a smile that showed a hint of her pearly white teeth.

David leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms, looking at her with a smug expression.

“Alice, I don't want to see you dressed like that again. It's inappropriate for the workplace.”

Alice's smile faded as she realized that this is the reason David halted her. Her face flushed with anger, but she bowed and murmured an apology before leaving the office.

David's attention immediately returned to his work, his thoughts consumed by Flora and the anger that Alice had ignited within him.

Alice scurried out, and a few moments later, Flora entered the office, causing David's heart to skip a beat. She was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen, with long golden hair, piercing blue eyes, and full lips that begged to be kissed. But the expression on her face told him that something was wrong. He could tell that she was angry.

David understood Flora's frustration. He had been so engrossed in his work that he had forgotten about his promise to give her priority. He stood up and reached out to hug her, but she stopped him halfway.

"What the hell was that?” Flora said, her anger evident in her voice. “Your secretary dared to delay me outside before I could have access to my man.”

“I'm sorry about that. She was just following my orders. I have a lot of work on my desk,” David explained, stretching his hand toward the table. “I don't want to be disturbed.”

“I see. But don't forget, I also have an office, and I am the managing director of my father's company,” Flora responded, but before she could finish her sentence, David leaned in and pressed his lips onto hers, silencing her words.

David's lips found Flora's, and they kissed passionately, lost at the moment. His hands roamed over her body, exploring every curve and crevice. Flora's fingers tangled in his hair as she deepened the kiss, and David's grip on her tightened.

Flora's fingers brushed against the buttons of David's shirt, suddenly an incoming call interrupted their passionate moment. David reluctantly pulled away, reaching for his phone on the table.

But Flora wouldn't be deterred. She pressed her lips against his once more, her hands moving down to his waistband. David's phone continued to ring, but he ignored it, lost in the moment with his lover.

Finally, he pulled away, his breath coming in short gasps. “I have to take this call,” he said, his voice husky with desire.

“Don't pick it” ?? She said Flora's fingers lingered on the buttons of David's shirt, but he stopped her with a gentle touch.

“Wait,” he said, his voice husky with desire. “As much as I want to continue this, I want us to wait until our wedding night. I want it to be special”

Flora's disappointment was palpable, but she tried to hide it as David went to answer the phone. She watched him walk away, admiring his broad shoulders and the way his suit hugged his muscular frame.

As soon as he was out of sight, Flora let out a frustrated sigh. She knew David was right, but she couldn't help feeling disappointed. She wanted him so badly, and it was hard to wait.

She was feeling the pressure to save her father's company, and getting pregnant seemed like the only way to speed up their marriage and acquire the marriage certificate to save her father's company since she will automatically have shares in David's company. But every time she tried to make love with David, it never seemed to work, leaving her frustrated and hopeless.

But she didn't want to show David that she was angry or upset, rejecting her attempt, always, so she took a deep breath and tried to compose herself. When David returned to the office, she put on a smile and greeted him warmly.

“Is everything okay?” she asked, attempting to sound casual.

David nodded, his attention already divided, and he seemed nervous.

“Just some business to take care of,” he

said and added,” Nothing to worry about.”

Flora nodded, trying to hide her disappointment from David. However, when she saw the nervous look on his face, she couldn't help but ask again if something was wrong.

David fidgeted uncomfortably before finally admitting, “I have to go back home. My mom needs my attention, she was the one who called”

Flora couldn't help feeling disappointed again that he wanted to leave now, but a dangerous thought crept into her mind—maybe if she followed him home and spent the night with him, it would finally happen.

“Can I come with you?” Flora asked eagerly, but David's expression turned uneasy.

“I don't think that's a good idea,” he said hesitantly. “It might not be appropriate since you didn't inform your staff you won't be coming back to the office, moreover your parents trusted you with their company”

Feeling a twinge of disappointment, Flora nodded, understanding the situation. “Okay,” She nodded and picked up her bag, wanting to leave the office with David.
