David's office remained unchanged, much like his own demeanor—deserted, tidy, and somewhat monotonous in its decor.

As Flora entered, her previously twisted and angry expression had transformed into a sweet smile. She carefully unpacked the meals from the food box and arranged them neatly on the low coffee table. Then, she softly addressed David.
