Chapter 97: Is that really you?

"Ma'am wait," the guard tried to stop Kiandra but it was too late as she was already out of the car.

The guard quickly opened the door and went after Kiandra who was going after someone.

The remaining two cars which had been following theirs, also stopped and they immediately got out of their cars to protect Kiandra.

Kiandra watched the woman take a turn and she followed her while calling after her. When she turned as well, she saw that the woman had gone into an alley.

"Excuse me," Kiandra called and the woman finally turned to face her.

"Ma'am, you shouldn't be here, it's dangerous for you," The guard stated and as soon as the woman saw the guard, she panicked and picked up a stick that was lying on the floor.

"No," Kiandra yelled but it was too late as the woman had already swung the stick at the guard who easily caught it. It would be an insult to Lucas if the guard he had hired to protect Kiandra could be easily defeated by that attempt.
