Chapter 29: Father and daughter getting along?

Kiandra took a deep breath and she rubbed her temples with her fingers. Even though Zendaya didn’t mention it all the time, Kiandra knew her daughter was curious about why she had no father.

Kiandra had never explained to Zendaya about her father, mainly because she couldn’t explain to her daughter that her father tried to kill her and also because she didn’t want to lie to her daughter about Lucas.

When the time came, she would tell her daughter the truth and let her decide what she wanted to do.

So Zendaya didn’t want to go to daycare because she felt intimidated by those who had fathers. She would have to talk to her daughter about this and manage to make Zendaya get over her fear.
