Chapter 121

It's been four months now since Charles spoke to Chris to borrow some funds from his wine company to sort out some debt at the Parker Enterprise. But nothing seems to have worked.

Emerald had signed three new big-time clients and these were clients that Charles was working with.

The thought of the turn of events made Charles mad and confused.

How was it possible to have lost all clients in just a short space of time? He thought.

Charles was standing by the window of his bedroom looking into the streets as thoughts kept crippling in and out of his mind.

Then Fiona entered to get some files to go for antenatal care. As soon as she lifted the files, it reminded Charles of the time he had mysteriously seen a document he thought was missing in his car.

Charles quickly turned to his wife and said, "Fiona. What did you do?"

"What do you mean by that? What did I do?" She asked back.

"How did the documents I brought home some time ago suddenly appear in my car?" Charles asked.

"Are you seriou
