Chapter 93

Mr Clark panicked when he heard his daughter’s words.

He had thought that he would know after a few days, but never in his mind did he think he would only find out that he had lied to her after just walking out for a few minutes.

Mrs Clark was confused at what Kaylee was talking about and looked at them to and fro trying to understand what was going in as it seemed she was the one in the dark.

“Kaylee, what are you talking about?” Mrs Clark asked when she was unable to see through them.

“Dad wasn’t giving me his shares. He was cheating me off my shares, mm. I have no shares, not even one percent,” Kaylee said as she felt like crying about that in her mother’s embrace.

“Are you sure? Your father can’t do that. Also, why should he cheat you on your shares when you signed the papers in front of us,” Mrs Clark said as she patted her daughter’s back.

Kaylee was trying her best not to cry or be left behind in the discussion so as not to let anyone laugh at her saying that she was weak.
