"You owe me a wish."

I turned my head in the direction of the voice. Maverick was staring at me and I twitched my mouth.

I hadn't told him about Felix and I asked Rebecca not to tell him as well. I could see she was planning on, but I wasn't sure if I should tell him.

But what if he found out through someone else? Then, that would be totally worse. A sigh escaped my lips instead of a word and my eyes widened as it traveled back to Maverick who had one of his brows raised.

"I sighed... Yes, I sighed because I thought, What wish would you ask? It has to be hard." I lied with a smile.

He blinked at me before pulling his hand out calling for me. I closed the small distance between our seats in the car and nestled closer to him.

His hand came around my shoulder, pulling me closer to him.

"What's your wish?" I asked looking up at his face.

"You'll know when it's time." He replied and I pouted before I nodded my head. My mind went back to the dinner we had with Rebecca and Ma
