"That was stupid of you! It almost killed me!"

Instead of hugging him, I punched him in the chest a few times. My intention is not to cause him any pain. It wasn't hard. He laughed and shook his head, and the sweet expression of his eyes melted my heart.

I now understand my heart. Xavion was right. He's my weakness, and I'm scared of losing him.

"I didn't get hurt. That's all it matters." Xavion hugged me tightly.

"What do you mean you didn't get hurt? They shot you! Luckily, it slips through." I looked at his right shoulder.

"Really? I didn't feel it. I'm glad you're okay, Quinn, and back in my arms again." He kissed my forehead.

"How did you know where I was?" I blinked my eyes while staring into his.

"Through this." He touches the pendant on my necklace, and my brows furrowed.

Xavion declined to go to the hospital, so here we are, back to his penthouse. The wound was merely a small cut. I applied ointment, antibacterial cream, and then bandaged it.
