Chapter 86: Anger and jealousy

He watched both sides before crossing the road with his grip around her wrist, pulling her along with him to the restaurant. Clarisse was short of words; she kept being dragged along, looking so confused and guilty. She felt so grateful for what he did for her, but she wasn't expecting him to come for lunch so soon; she indeed promised to treat him to lunch, but she had no savings account, nor did she have any money on her and Kyle wasn't giving her any chance to disagree.

He sits happily opposite her and calls on the waiter.

" What would you like to eat?" he asked, grinning at her.
