Chapter 151: My fear, my efforts

Alice slammed the door of the car angrily before bursting into tears; her heart ached in a way it had never, and her body shivered as reality began to dawn on her.

" I've lost everything," she wept, " everything is gone, my friends, my wealth, all hope, everything has been taken away from me."

She sniffled her left mucous into the right, placed her palm on the wheel, and clenched her fist around it tightly.
