Chapter 11: Sharon's anger

" Huh? What happened to your dress?", Ashley was surprised to see her mother's dress changed, " but I must say, this one looks better and more beautiful, who's did it for you?", She asked admiring the dress,

" My daughter in law",

" No way!", She chuckled, " wow! Can't believe that big head's wife-to-be will be someone with a skill, a nice skill",

" I was surprised too", she relaxed back on the couch, dropping her purse beside her and kicking the heels off. A maid quickly came forward to pack it and take it to the room where it belonged.

" But why is your mood sour, is she not beautiful? don't worry, your son is a heavenly god, his handsomeness alone is enough so worry not, they won't give you ugly grandchildren",

" It's not that",

" Then what is it?",

" I was angry when I saw her",

" Why?",

" The way she looks broke my heart into pieces, I was so angry that I wanted to yell at her and ask why is she not taking care of herself",

" I don't understand",

" I don't know, what did that family do to her?", She asked looking so worried and concerned, " she looked so lean Ashley, so lean and pale, I could nearly see her bones, and her eyes? There's no life in them, she was just moving, I couldn't even see her smile when she smiled, her fingers were all thin and her thump was full of injuries of needless. I could tell she had gone through hell and was still going through it, the feeling of hugging her was so much and all I wanted to do was take her away from that family".

" Hm", Ashley sighed, " I don't know who you are talking about? But I looked her up, the lady brother is marrying, unless it's not Alice", she said and showed her Alice's picture from I*******m.

" Woah, see their daughter, glowing and shining, and someone else's daughter is dying", Sharon felt so disgusted, " I hate that kind of people most",

" Okay... You didn't tell me they've changed the bride",

" Oh well, they did, probably because of the rumors",

" I told you to clear that up",

" Why should I? He's disabled, so? I know some disabled people who are rich, successful, and handsome".

Ashley sighed, " true",

" And there are those that know the truth",

" True. But I bet their jaws are gonna hang open when they see my brother", she said proudly, " so what are you going to do? I don't like any of them in that family, will prefer we have no business with them",

" No, if anything, I'm hastening it up",

" Huh?",

" We'll do the wedding in two days",

" What?!",

" I need to call my husband", she stood up and excused herself leaving Ashley whose mouth was hung open.

" What's going on?", Patricia asked looking worried and confused. By the time she arrived, Sharon had left and she had been so worried, didn't know what happened or why she was not around but she threatened Clarisse that she was going to go through hell if the marriage fell off.

" You're confusing me, what happened?",

" The Percy's family said...",

" That?",

" They'd love the wedding to be in two days" " he said giggling like a baby,

" What?! Are..you sure of what you're saying?",

" Hundred percent, I couldn't contain my job and that's why I was rushing home to shower you with my love and affection".

Patricia blushed, smiling, "Well...what are you going to do?",

" Anything you want my love, name it",

" Hmm... anything?",

" Anything, but first, I'll need to start giving it to you from the bedroom", he tinkled with her causing her to laugh and blush,

" C'mon... you're still naughty at such an old age", she said shyly,

" Old? Will not defend that, but you can testify that my joystick never gets old", he winked at her,

" Hey!", She hit him, blushing so hard.

" What did you do to Charles's wife, how did you do it?",

" Hmm...well...just...this and that, woman to woman, we know how this thing works",

Patricia giggled as Ferdinand headed over to their room.

" I need to hasten up the signing, have some urgent things to attend to", a tall man standing by the curtain said while staring out at the city through the transparent glass.

" What urgent matter, the construction deals are not the only deal we are sealing and we have to chill around before your wedding day.

" I told you I have no time to chill around",

" You're such a workaholic, you won't have the time or chance to do all this again, so this is your only opportunity",

" I guess we're done talking about business, goodnight",

" Hey, hey, hey, Calm down bro, fine, I'll get the AnD cooperation to sign the deal, but don't forget my cut",

" I never go back on my words",

" And when is your wedding? I don't want to miss it for anything in this world",

" You don't have to come, just concentrate on getting the deal",

" Don't be a sorry boring dude and I'm your goddamn best friend, why will I miss the wedding for heaven's sake, if anything, I should be there helping you get prepared, but you trapped me here with a business",

" There's no way you can attend even if I tell you so like I said, just focus on closing the deal",

" If you're not going to tell me I'll just ask Ashley by myself but believe me once I get the information from Ashley, you'll see me by your side two days earlier whether I close the deal or not",

" Is that supposed to be a threat?",

" Not like you ever feel threatened but whatever",

" Okay...", He sighed getting exhausted already from the conversation that already seemed too long, " The wedding is in two days",

" What?!", He screamed.

Chris placed the phone away from his ear already, he knew he was going to scream,

" Why the hell are you just telling me now?",

" I just received the message also, it was supposed to be in two weeks",

" And how are you going to meet up, you can't let Kyle beat you to it, you know how stubborn and persistent that idiot can be",

" He can never beat me to anything", Chris said confidently, " and I'll see about the wedding. Bye", he hung up immediately giving Ryan no room to say any more words.

He tossed the phone to the bed and loosened his tie, " which one is more important, the money, or the wedding?", He asked himself.
