I paced my room thinking of what to do. There was no excuse to give Dad. I was expected to get married in two months and finally take over what’s rightfully mine.

I was beyond ready for the job’s stress and responsibility. But the marriage part, not so much.

I was fine with my numerous one night stands. That lifestyle best suited me. It was also a bonus knowing I didn’t even need to speak to have them head over heels for me. My looks and appearance already seal the deal way ahead.

I could easily date any girl of my choice but they are far too cheap for my taste. I wanted a girl who wouldn't drool over me. One who could stand her ground and not follow my every whim like a hopeless puppy.

I poured myself a shot of vodka and downed it immediately, feeling the cool liquid burn down my throat. My hair was disheveled and I looked like crap. There was a stubble on my face and I had small bags under my eyes.
