It Wasn't Me

Aurora finally woke up around noon. She dragged herself out of bed in a daze, grabbed a quick bite, and then just sat zoning out in the living room. Even though she was still in the states, not being at the Whitmore house meant she was totally out of the loop on what was going down there. She felt restless and uneasy, with nothing much to do.

Heath walked over and tossed her a tablet. Aurora blinked in confusion. "What's this for?"

"Just open it and see," Heath said cryptically.

Aurora opened it, puzzled. To her shock, it showed live feeds of the Whitmore living room and even Isabella's bedroom.

"Don't tell me you bugged the Whitmore house?" she asked, stunned.

Heath shook his head. "Nah, it wasn't me. Eamon did it."

Aurora's jaw dropped. This was insane. The Whitmore house was like Fort Knox - how the hell did Eamon manage to sneak cameras in there without anyone noticing?
