Chapter 3

(Kelly pov)

I grabbed him by the hand, leading to the backyard, how did he find out where I stayed, he was starting to draw my attention and I didn't want that.

"First of all, who the hell are you" I asked curiously

"Sorry sweetheart for not introducing myself properly" he smiled, his eyes calm. " Am Daniel Vuitton," he said stretching out his hand for a shake.

Daniel Vuitton, I repeated in my thought, the name sounding familiar, have heard of it. My expression went blank as I stared at him.

"You are him, the billionaire," I asked my thoughts distraught, I just had sex with the billionaire Daniel Vuitton, who would believe that Kaylee would go out of her mind if she ever found out?

(Daniel pov)

I could see the surprise on her face, but that wasn't important, I needed her help, if she was truly the one to save my relationship with Mia then I was ready to take that chance.

" I need your help cupcake" I requested

"First of all, my name is Kelly not cupcake, and secondly need my help for what" I listened as she raised each question.

I was not in the mood to argue with her, am a busy man and she should know that.

"I have a proposition for you" I gently tell her, her brows raised in question

"What proposition?"

"A contract marriage, between you and I" she coughed, trying to get herself as I watched her. "Are you done??" anger filled my face.

"You kidding right, this must be a prank, alright you all can come out now, what TV show is this, fool the naive girl" she teased

I grabbed her arm, pulling her closer, my face inches away from her.

" does it look like am joking cupcake"

(Kelly pov)

I could see the seriousness on his face even when he was inches away. A contract marriage is he for real, we just met like few hours ago, does he like me that much or what? I managed to pull away

"What are you talking about" I pulled away standing far away from him. Is he drunk or is he on something high?

"You must be crazy, A Contract marriage, do you think it's Child play, am not interested, I have a life of my own and someone I love too, what happened between us was a one-time mistake and that's all it will ever be" I added, feeling too proud of myself.

"Whenever you change your mind cupcake, here is my card" he handed me his business card as he grazed past me, heading to his car parked outside.

I stared at the card, still shocked by his audacity, I checked my time, I was running late.

(Mia pov)

"You said 6:00 on the dot" Her eyes filled with rage

"Calm down sweetheart, am a busy man" Van replied

"What do you want Van, what was the purpose of this meeting" I folded my hands, knowing deep down he was cracking, with Daniel being on the top 10 billboards of the richest business mogul and enterprise. Van was on the edge of his seat. A wicked grin curled up on my face.

"You must be enjoying this" his eyes were full of rage, I took a sip of my drink, my eyes still fixed on him

"Enjoying what, Van am a busy lady, I believe you called for this meet-up because you have something important to say" I was running out of patience. "Out with it"

"I need your help, Mia," his eyes pleading

"And what makes you so sure, I will give it to you, Van I don't know what you are asking me for but I will gladly deny" I quickly added, how dare he try to use me against my future husband to be.

He laughed.

His laughter was filled with anger and mockery as it vibrated through me, drawing attention to where we were seated.

"How dare you" I retorted

"How dare I, how dare you try to act like a saint, I know your kind of person Mia behind all this facade, you are the worst kind of human, you may have Daniel fooled, but am not Daniel, I know a sly Fox when I see one" his eyes pierced into mine as I felt it inside of me. He was good, and that was the only reason I kept meeting him.

(Kelly pov)

We all sat in rows, we just got the script for the new movie "VILLIAN". My role was easy, I would be playing Andy, the killer's lost daughter who was later killed, and my lines were based on a two-page. It was not much but I was appreciative.

The scene was performed great, and although we had issues with other actors, it eventually succeeded, my mind was still on the bizarre request Daniel asked, so I glanced through my phone, I needed to talk to Xander and explain everything.

I hated lying to him, it just wasn't my kind of person, A relationship based on lies does not last and I don't want to ruin the only good thing I have going on with Xander.

(Daniel pov)

The deal with the investors went smoothly, with the crazy day I had, hearing this news brings me joy. The office door opens as Mia and my secretary Daisy walk in.

"I tried to stop her Sir," Daisy said, her voice worried

"It's okay Daisy, you may go" I assured her

" I don't like her, you need to fire her" Mia chipped in, her face fueled with anger

"It has not gotten to that love, she was just doing her job" I walked towards her and planted a soft kiss on her lips as she kissed back. "I miss you"

"Are you sure, cause you have been acting out lately" She stares at him, brushing past him to sit on the couch

"You know how busy I am Mia, of all people you should understand" I walked to my little office bar and filled two glasses with whiskey.

"I know but you got to make time for me also, I made a reservation at Elles, just you and me together, having dinner then heading back to your place". Mia added

I love the way she thinks as I handed her one of the glasses of whiskey. "Seems like you have gotten everything prepared" I lean closer, kissing her cheeks and forehead, I love this moment.

"You know me" a smile appeared on her lips

(Kelly pov)

I stopped a cab as I got in, I gave him Xander's address as he drove off, and I quietly sat at the back, trying to picture how the conversation between Xander and I would end.

I was scared, I did mess up. The cab stopped in front of Xander and drove away, I got out paid, and thanked him as he drove off. I headed towards the door, I guess he was in, his car was parked outside, I used my spare key and unlocked the door.

"Xander" I called, my eyes staring at the hand beige bag on the couch, I picked up the bag and stared at it, it looked familiar, but I just couldn't figure out where I had seen it.

Faint noises kept coming from the bedroom as I walked towards it, my hand placed on the door knobs as I unlock, My heart shattered.

"Xander" I yelled his name as he stared at me and continue fucking Kaylee, she moan louder, filling the room. I couldn't believe my eyes as I stormed out of the house angrily, with hot tears streaming down my eyes.

(Daniel pov)

Dinner was great, I held Mia close, and she leaned forward wrapping her hands around my neck, kissing me passionately as I kissed back, my hand slid underneath the red sleeve she wore, cupping her breast as she quickly unbuttoned my shirt sliding her hand into my pant. I quickly stopped her.

"Again" her eyes filled with disappointment

"Hey, there is no rush, we will make love with it at the right time" I chipped in, feeling ashamed of the lame excuse, this sickness is making me look stupid, I need Kelly.

"And when will that be" Mia asked losing her patient

"Babe" I tried to touch her as she brushed me off, picking up, her bag and heading toward the door, I tried calling behind but she ignored me flat.

My phone rang, it was an unknown number, I answered it

"Yes hello Daniel speaking, who is this" I asked

"It's Kelly," she said at the other end her voice sad and low

" is everything okay, your voice sounds different, are you okay" I was worried, I don't why but I was worried.

"Your offer, does it still stand"

I was speechless, I didn't know what to say, "excuse me"

I wanted to be sure I wasn't dreaming

or her a thing

"I said I would do it, I will sign the contract marriage with you " A smile curled up on my face, I don't know what changed her mind but am grateful.
