Kelly's POV

Since the incident that happened at the office, I've been distancing myself from Daniel. We stopped talking, except on business matters. Although I felt hurt about it, I figured that it was for the better, he was never going to love me. I tried my best to keep our relationship casual, talking to him only when necessarily.

Mia became more closer to him. She even moved in with us, which made me feel jealous at first. Sometimes I'd get to watch her kiss Daniel in front of me and I had nothing to do about it.

I was at the kitchen, helping out with the dishes when she stepped in.
