"sir, uhmm it was a minor shock that made her pass out. I think you got to avoid anything that'll make her sad, show her some love and I'd prefer if she's not yelled at, okay?", the doctor told Daniel.

"Okay sir, I'll do just that", Daniel replied regretfully.

"that'll help her psychology, I'd prefer you let her rest for the meantime", The doctor said.

Daniel agreed, he walked up to Mia and kissed her on the forehead, he stared at her for some seconds before leaving the room.

"He's gone now", the doctor whispered as he rolled his eyes. Mia lifted up her head and smiled

"well played Doctor, well played", she commented, sitting upright on her bed.

"Ma'am, you know very well that it is not right for a doctor to fake a scenario, please I wouldn't want this to happen again", the doctor said pleadingly.

"Oh relax Doc, it's just a pretense, nobody is dying here okay, besides, I'll double your pay just for this", Mia replied with a sinister smile.

"Quick, someone is coming", the doctor s
