Alexander's POV

Days have passed and I still haven't seen Layla. Where could she have gone to? I asked myself.

I kept a close tab on her account, but she hasn't spent anything from the money. I was terribly worried. How has she been living? I wondered.

She couldn't have left the country. If she had, my men would have informed me.

I spend most of my time at the hospital, expecting her to show up and see her mother. I know how much she cherished her mother, but she hasn't shown up.

Could she have committed suicide? I thought. I shook my head. The Layla I know can't kill herself over a small matter.

Zara continued living in the villa. She spends her money on unnecessary things that made me question the kind of life she had been living.

Amelia also comes to visit sometimes, claiming that she is taking care of her pregnant friend.
