So, I decided to hit up the nightclub, you know, the main one where I practically lived during my marriage to Lana. That’s where I first spotted Sarah, but she was just another face in the crowd, totally clueless about the scene until we started hanging out and suddenly it became her second home. But I digress.

My eyes were glued to the dance floor, where this stunning stripper with chocolate skin was wrapping her legs around the pole like it was her best friend. I was mesmerized, completely lost in her performance, until the bartender snapped me back to reality.

“Hey, Mr. Donovan, you good?” he grinned. I turned to him, flashed a smile back, and said, “Yeah, I’m fine, thanks,” while adjusting my stool and resting my arms on the counter, my mind wandering off again.
