Lana pov

It's been ages—like, weeks turning into months—since I last laid eyes on Bryan, but I absolutely must grab him some chocolate from the Mall. I've got this grand plan to swing by his school before they close up shop for the day. As the morning sun beamed into my room, it was like a spotlight saying, "Hey, sleepyhead, rise and shine!" I tried to block out the rays that were practically begging to invade my eyelids since I forgot to close the curtains.
