96. Fallout

Christian's POV

I woke up dazed and confused, trying to remember what had happened the night before. All I could recall was a hazy image of Lucy giving me a glass of wine. My head was pounding, and as I rubbed my temples, I realized I couldn't find my phone.

Panic set in as I searched my room, but there was no sign of it. I wondered if I had lost it somewhere or if someone had taken it. I needed to call Lucy to find out what had happened the night before.

I got out of bed and stumbled into the bathroom to take a quick shower. As I dressed in my black suit, I went down to the living room, where I saw my father, and the others siited around the dinner table. The living room was spotless, like nothing had taken place here. The person that cleaned it, did a good job.

"Good morning, father." I greeted and turned to my younger brother Kelvin, my driver Salvador, and my maid Ophelia. I greeted them as well, which they responded with smiles on their faces.
