Chapter 48 - The Suspicion

Nancy wasn't able to sleep in her bedroom and she tossed around thinking about Charles, and worst is she couldn't shut her eyes closed. Without remembering how she had kissed him back too. As she was gradually becoming haunted with the thoughts and memory of how she and Charles had made love to each other.

Nancy frowned and she sat up on her bed as it was already night and yet she couldn't sleep. And she wore her slippers and she finally walked out from her room to stare about and to see if she would finally feel tired and sleeping.

Stepping out to her parlour again, Nancy knew that even when she was in school, she isolated from a lot of female friends that wanted to get closer to her as she rather focus on her study and now she wished she had someone to share her problem with.

She had cousin sisters, but she isn't so close with them, as they were still young and because her mother is the oldest of her siblings.
