Chapter 10

They're having the most happiest meal they ever had as what it seems and written all over their faces. But the one who is really enjoying is Celo, he ordered a lot of food even if it is not included in the package his friend promised. That's how he was called a thick-skinned person by his friend. But it was all right because they have known each other for so long it was not a big deal anyway.

“Since Eli accepted the offer to be your lover, you too should be start dating as in today.”

Dizen and Eli didn't listen on what Celo was saying. They continue eating without saying any side comments towards it. 

But Celo began talking again, “You both, I'm being serious here. Look at me. You should be doing like this.”

He started to slice some burritos and put it on Dizen's plate. “Come on, Dizen do what I did on Eli. Oh, come on! Don't give me a face like that, just do it. You're such a piece of bullshit, I'm telling you to do it now.”

Dizen shook his head while chewing the food inside his mouth so he just couldn't reply any words to fight those words his friend is throwing on him. Sooner, he started slicing the burritos on his plate and after that he moved it using his spooning to the plate of Eli.

The woman remained silent, but she was not sure on her heart who was being loud now. Is this her first time experiencing someone doing this to her? She know that it wasn't but the feeling was unexplainable and unexpected as well.

“This is also a sweet move!” Celo looked like he was thinking of something again that he would rather told his friend to do it with that woman. “Look, I will do it to you my friend.” He started to dig some spoonfuls and then when he raised up his spoon he was saying, “Aah...”

Dizen opened his mouth and there he goes so perfectly swallowing the food inside his mouth. How come his friend even think of this? He was so skilled when it comes to this but not in real. Celo is just some type of man who could not give his time or his full commitment to the woman he want.

“And then, I'm going to get a tissue and will gently swipe the latter of the food on your lips.” Celo started to do what he said. “See? That is so romantic, right?”

“You two look cute together. Why don't you marry each other.” Eli commented the two after witnessing a sweet moment of best friends caring for each other.

“Oh, really? You know what Eli, we're planning a divorce.”

There was a sudden laughter they also didn't expect to come up after hearing those words that was not also meant to be a joke.

“Is it funny?” asked Celo when he realized he should stop laughing.

The two answered at the same time, “NO.” 

And then the laughter was suspended so suddenly.

Dizen, in his mind, he was at the verge of doing what his friend done to him. But he was lacking some nerves to feed Eli. Us doubting himself the girl would react so exaggeratedly or she would freak out or rejected that simple thing or so he thought.

“What was the point of doing that anyway if I can kiss her when I want to?” Dizen slipped out what he was thinking.

And the two, their reaction was so in full astonishment. What was the hell this guy thinking? He was also blaming his self now and of course his slippery mouth. 

“What did you say?” asked Celo, smiling on him as if he said something cool but not cool anymore when the one he was pertaining to, heard it.

“Did I say something?” Dizen started to deny everything through his acting skills. Damn this man was so good at pretending and hiding things you don't want to reveal.

“Yeah.” His two audience on the table nodded their heads.

He still denied it, “I haven't.” He made himself busy slicing the food on his plate and when he saw the pizza margherita, who started to remove all of the toppings on it and ate only the crust. He was now not paying attention to his curious audience and he pretended that they were invisible in his eyes.

“Maybe we're just hearing things maybe we're just having hearing problem, right?” Eli was paying more attention on the other guy the moment she started stating those words.

Celo who maintained the eye contact to the woman in front of him say something. “You know what Eli, I was thinking if he was thinking to kiss that pretty woman sitting on the table behind us.” And he was now observing the woman behind Eli but he was the one who was looking on that girl and not his best friend. He's just making some unjustifiable accusations maybe just to make up the two.

“If he wants to give that lady then why did he chase me?” Eli's eyes maintaining its gaze towards the man he was talking to. Before, they were like two like poles of a magnet that was not attracted to each other and more likely to repel each time they meet so they keep fighting against one another but not now as they seemed to piss off the other man and obviously making him jealous.

“You has a point so definitely it was you. You want to kiss her Dizen, right?” Celo broke his gaze and transferred it to the man sitting beside him.

“Couples do it, right?” Dizen let's just looking down on his while in the process of throwing those words.

“But you both aren't for real.” Celo winked at Eli to secretly told her that he was picking on him. Eli secretly snickered because she knows Celo's friend has a short temper.

Dizen dropped the spoon and fork so harshly and then spoke up with forced sufferance. “But I'm going to make it looks like real especially when people asks so we should do it.”

Celo continued teasing his best friend without making him to notice it. “So you two will pretend like you're a celebrity that people likes to ship? Going on in a date with some paparazzi trailing behind you too and secretly taking photos of you. Remember you are the son of the famous businessman in this country and you're handsome. I know you know since we entered inside this restaurant, all eyes are on you.”

Eli echoed, “Uh-oh! Not me.” She purposely did a mean smile.

“Yeah, because she was looking on me.” Celo began looking on her again. Eli decided to end the act so she was now thinking of something to say. At some point, she does not want to see Dizen flaring in so much anger because he was so pissed off.

“Oh come on you dick head, don't give meaning on that. I have no intentions on you.” She rolled her eyes as if she was totally disgusted on this guy. In that way she was thinking it will make Dizen to calm himself and she was expecting he will show off some changes in his mood and definitely hoping for the best and turned him into good mood.

“I know. I know. I know. I... I just know.” Celo was not informed that that was the end of their play so he stuttered and became out of words to the point that he was only repeating what he was saying but the woman remained her act so that she wouldn't burst out in so much laughter. 

Dizen pushed the table so his chair moved and created a noise that is so hurting in the ear. The two are so shocked i didn't expect that to happen. They were expecting some good outcome or response but it was all in their heads. 

“I want to go home now. I want to rest besides Eli and I have something to discuss with.” Dizen looks so timid and nonchalant. He was showing an emotion that is hard to describe. How could he draw this emotion on his face? It's so indescribable.

“But we already talked about it the other other day, right?” Eli looked up, still reading what's on this guy's mind but she just couldn't. If only she had a mind reading skills she would know.

“No. Other than being my lover we have something to accomplish and we will do it together, okay?” Dizen's was getting colder and colder. It was adding to the coldness of the air conditioner inside this restaurant that everyone must need to wear a jacket just to avoid the extreme feeling of a winter-like emotion of this man.

“Okay, let me finish my food first.” Eli couldn't think of a thing to lighten up this man's mood. She have had known him for short period of time so she haven't seen the best and the worst in him. Maybe sooner or later she will know how to react when the guy acted again this way.

“Oh man, I'm supposed to say that. You think the same way, huh?” It was Celo who was also trying to lighten up the mood that they just ruined because of their play. 

“Take your time,” said Dizen nonchalantly, “I'll just wait in the car.” But he then walked relentlessly without firing a glance towards the two so they won't have a hunch he was pissed off but they already felt it.

“Eh? Look at him. He's so easy to flip out.” Eli said soon as he saw the guy walked out the door.

Celo continued eating without even minding what was happening around them as long as he was talking and replying to this woman's words. “Maybe your fake boyfriend is getting jealous on us.”

“He's so unreasonable.” Eli shook her head and then she also continued digging on her plate which was containing less food and she will finish it soon unlike the man she was with right now food who put all of the food on Dizen's plate into his so his plate was like a mountain of foods.

“Like what the fuck does he need to act all the time?” Celo said as he chew and his mouth was so full of food.

“Anyway who will pay the bill?” asked Eli. She's finished eating.

And then Celo's eyes widened in great surprise. He dropped the utensils in his hand down to the table in full surprise so both of his palm are now on each side of his head. “Oh my god, Dizen why did you do this to me?” 

“Why?” Eli reply to the man who was acting so exaggeratedly.

“He said he's the one who will pay. He said it's on him.” Celo was looking on the outside but he also noticed when he turned his face to the other direction that the waiter was approaching to their table now.

Eli has her reasons too. “You know I'm just starting my job so I don't have money. You pay it since you're the one who ate almost everything.”

So this is the moment where this guy is going to get some money from his own pocket. “I'm going to crush that man's dick. He's so mean. I'm so poor. How could he do this to me?”

He was complaining again and again until they went out of the restaurant into the car but his best friend was not talking to him so it was impossible anymore for him to pay what he had spent.

Dizen as he remained quiet until they arrived at their mansion, he was wishing his mouth not to utter his secret.

His secret will affect anyone and everything around him. His secret should remain a secret. This is his reason why he need someone to accompany him.
