Russell was not able to change my mind about going to the airport to pick him up and expectedly so. I mean, he could be stubborn but I was just as stubborn, maybe even more so than him.

Jerry, his personal driver had come to pick me up from my apartment that afternoon before we left for the airport. Russell's flight had been delayed so rather than arriving in the morning like he had promised to, he was arriving in the late afternoon. During the drive the entire ride, I simply couldn't sit still out of excitement and Jerry literally had to point out my restlessness and urge me to relax a bit.

"You know bouncing on your seat isn't going to make us get there any faster right?" He asked me, studying my expression through the rear view mirror.
