After talking to Cade Grey, the CEO of the reporting company 'Gnewz' from the group of companies owned by his family THE Greys  for over an hour I started preparing for today's meeting. Yes and this is the CEO of the company who wrote that article. He was my friend in college. He even had crush on me, but when I told him I liked someone else, he understood it and we remained good friends. Ethan was always jealous of him or any male I talked to, as a matter of fact. Whatever stop thinking about that jerk. I can't believe he didn't called back. At least of not for me he should have done it for my children. I'm sure one day they are gonna ask me about their father, god only knows what I'm gonna tell them.

An hour later, the meeting started with Mr. Noah William, we discussed about the contract and everything. I don't like doing business with him, because I sense something fishy about him. I remember one day at a charity event he told me he liked me, indirectly, not like in a straight forward way, but in his own twisted way, but I rejected him, directly. I thought he was gonna take his shares back from the company or do something over dramatic, but he didn't, he behaved like nothing happened. I'm more than sure he's planning something much more bigger, because he has got a ego as big as the great wall of china, no really, I'm not kidding.

An hour later the meeting finished and I went home for lunch at my parent's place. My parents told me to take the rest of the day off, and I agreed as I've to go to the party they have thrown for me.

I chatted with Alec, while the twins were playing with mom and dad. After an hour or so we went home, to get ready for the party.

My assistant had called our makeup artist George, he is the one who have always got me ready for parties since I was a kid. After an hour later I was ready. George went to Jackson's room to style his hair, while I went to Ella's to help her wearing her dress, then George did her hair too. I was waiting for the twins to get ready.

They both came looking so good.

Jackson was wearing a black tux, under it he was wearing a white shirt and did a bow tie.

Ella was wearing a black frock and pearl necklace, she was wearing a tiara and her hair was pulled up in a bun, she doesn't like to keep her hair down like me, because its irritating when it comes in front of our eyes and we have to put them behind.

I was too wearing black, a black ball gown, it had spaghetti straps and showed my curves perfectly. They both were even wearing their shades. They were totally obsessed with it.

"Why are you guys wearing your shades when it's an evening party?" I asked them. 

"Because we look cool." replied Jackson .

"Because it's my new shades and I want to show it to everyone." replied Ella.

I chuckled at them. "You both are looking fabulous." I told them kissing their cheeks.

"Really??Thank you mommy you look so beautiful." Both of them said and kissed my cheeks from both the side.

We went towards the limo and after 20 mins we reached the party destination.

The front door was covered with red rose. Going in there was a tree like structure covered with baby pink and white leaves. Moving inside there were white and pink rose hanging from the ceiling. The whole ceiling was covered that way and so were the walls. It felt like I've entered heaven, it was so beautiful. I moved further in with my twins and met my best friends Izzy and Kath.

"Congo Care, we're so happy for you." Izzy said hugging me.

"Now I'll have free stay and food in whichever country or state I travel, because both of you have many hotels and restaurants all over the globe. "Kath said.

 "Off course" I said

and we did a group hug.

"But guys really, thank you so much for always being here with me, I didn't really think I would be able to be where I'm today, when I divorced him. I owe all of it to you guys." 

"Don't be stupid, we are your friends, we're always gonna be there for you." said Izzy 

"You can always count on us Care." Kath said.

I got emotional and hugged them tight. "Hey don't cry you will spoil your makeup, we don't want you to look like a zombie, now do we." Kath joked. She always knew how to make our mood light and Izzy knew how to console you, as she was the most mature of us all and understood our moods without even telling her, she is very understanding, while she is the youngest of us all.

My kids came running towards me with chocolates in their hands. They carried more than what their small hands could hold. We all chuckled seeing them.

"Aren't you angels too small to carry so many chocolates and eat them, what if the tooth fairy came to know?" Izzy cooed them bending down to their height. 

"There is no such thing as twooth fairy." 

"Yeas it's just a stwory." Jackson and Ella replied. 

"Really, who told you that?" 

"He did" Jackson said pointing at the man near the table where chocolates were kept.

And that man turned out to Adam knight, Ethan's dad.

He was looking straight over at us.

"Yeas he said we can eat as many chwocalotes as much we want, because we're cutie pies"

He saw us looking at him I gave him a small smile and he returned it. Just then Elena Knight, his wife, Ethan's mom came to him and looked over where he was looking at, and saw us her attention went towards the twins and her eyes widened, then she looked at me, I gave her a smile, but she just frowned and went somewhere else taking her husband with her.

I remember when I met her the first time, as Ethan's girlfriend I was hella nervous, but then she opened the door and she engulfed me in a hug. She always treated me as her daughter. When Ethan accused me of cheating, I was so sure that she would never believe it, but she did. Well I didn't even expect Ethan to accuse me of such thing, in the first place but he did. I always thought that we would be together forever, but I guess forever exists only in fairy tales, and life ain't a fairy tale.

Izzy noticed my sour mood and said, "Hey don't let her get to you, today is your day enjoy it." 

"Yeah, she shouldn't have the right to change your mood, she's the past let her be there." Kath joined.

Just then my dad came on the stage and everyone's attention gathered to him, "Good evening ladies and gentlemen, thank you so much for taking your precious time to come here. Today I want to make an announcement that I'm giving my place to my daughter Ms. Caroline Lightwood. She's my heart. I'm so proud of you Care. You are one of the strongest person I've known. You have been through so much, but you came out as a strong woman. Whenever I see you my chest swells of pride. I remember when you were a little child, you always loved to come with me to my office, and  tell of the staff that one day it was gonna be yours." Everyone laughed at that and cheered loudly.

Then my dad continued "When you grew up you started taking interest in all the office works, and now you have been doing all the work. The moment you were born I knew you were the heir to my company. So today I give my company in your hands, I hope and I know it is in safe hands. So from today you are not just the heir or acting CEO of the company, but the CEO of the company. God bless you my child."

I was in tears when he ended the speech. The whole crowd were applauding, media were taking photos and videos. Izzy gave me a side hug and motioned me to go to the stage.

I went towards the stage and took the mic ,"I don't really know how to start, it's just so overwhelming. First of all, I'm so much thankful to mom and dad to bring me into this world, to give me an amazing childhood and for being with me in every stage of my life. You have been always there with me no matter what. You guys have taught me everything I know. I can never ever repay you what you have done for me. Thank you so much mom, dad for being such an amazing parents to me.

And then Alec, he has always been my big protective brother, although he's the younger one. He always supported me and encouraged me to do things I've been scared of. Thank you so much  little bro for doing that, because of it I'm here today.

My best friends Izzy and Kath, you guys are more like my family, you guys have always been there for me, through my ups and downs, my highs and my lows. You guys are the most amazing people I have ever met. I'm so thankful to god for having all of you.

At last but not the least my angels, my baby twins, I'm so thank full to have you both. You are my light, my inspiration, you guys are my everything.  I want to tell of you I love you guys so much.

Each and everyone that has been in my life, my family, my friends, my team, and the whole  office staff I'm so so thankful to you guys. And I promise to do my best for the welfare of our company.

Whatever I'm today or will be I owe it all to you.

This was the first time I had introduced my children to the world. The media was going crazy and blinding us with their lights. This was not surprising at all though.

But I was happy, very very very happy.

It was one of the most amazing and memorable day I've ever had.

At that moment a thought occurred  in my mind Everything's right.
